Like the leaves of every autumn, time passes, and new beginnings and endings may manifest things that simply must be. There is no sentiment Dick and Patty Hoover share with regard to the selling of their business, more definitively than the sadness of saying good bye to the life style they have created and enjoyed for the past 15 years. Goodbye to the buying trips, the wine tastings, all the food you can eat and pajama parties, and in some ways so long to the identities they came to share throughout their years of ownership of the General Store, Deli and Home in Story Wyoming.

But it’s time to move on to the next phase of their lives.  They left the big city corporate life for the slower paced rural area and now they see the next chapter in their lives as customers of their former business….aspiring to build a new home not so close to the back door of their business, but nonetheless in their treasured Story, Wyoming. They hope someone will see what they saw years ago in this business endeavor, and much more, they hope to pass on their lived out dream to another rat race escapee.
